Home Watch

Home watch checks are not a quick walk through as your neighbor was doing in the past to keep themselves occupied. Home Watch checks are a full comprehensive inspection from top to bottom, inside and out. Our inspection will include the following as well as a digital detailed report with a GPS time stamp guaranteeing our presence at time of inspection. Photo’s will accompany the report if any concerns are found at time of inspection.

Interior Inspections Includes but not limited to:

  • Turn on main water supply to the property
  • Check for intruders or signs of vandalism
  • Check thermostat settings
  • Check relative humidity in the home
  • Run all water in sinks, showers, and flush toilets (Insuring water fills the P-traps)
  • Run garbage disposal to insure it’s not locked up.
  • Checking all walls and ceilings for signs of water damage
  • Checking all closets for signs of water damage or smells
  • Check all windows for signs of forced entry and insure they are locked properly
  • Check all doors for signs of forced entry and insure they are locked properly
  • Check to insure the refrigerator/freezer are running and have no spoiled food in them
  • Insure the ice maker is off and empty (power outage, ice will melt and refreeze in the motor)
  • Check washer and dryer for water leaks or smells
  • Check the garage for signs of forced entry or vandalism
  • Visual inspection of vehicles for fluid leaks, flat tires, battery is charging, mold in interior
  • Make sure all doors are locked, lights are out, and water supply is turned off.

Exterior inspections include but are not limited to:

  • Check mail box
  • Visual inspection of the driveway and walks for damage
  • Visual inspection of lawn for proper watering (irrigation system is working)
  • Visual inspection of the landscaping (make sure it’s being done as scheduled)
  • Visual inspection of all trees and shrubs
  • Visual inspection of the perimeter of the home
  • Visual inspection of the roof from ground level
  • Visual inspection for window and screening for forced entry
  • Visual inspection of pool/lanai cage for damage/forced entry
  • Visual inspection of pool equipment
  • Visual inspection of the pool and deck
  • Visual inspection of slider doors for signs of forced entry
